Joaquim Dias, 40, of Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly, on July 30th. He was the husband of Raigen Dias. Born in Brava, Cape Verde he was a son of Hermogenes Martins Dias and Maria Pereira Andrade.
Joaquim enjoyed basketball and loved listening to music, especially Tupac. He will always be remembered for his story-telling, kindness, and love for his friends and family.
Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Jamari, Jaivon and Joaquim Dias; siblings, Domingas Rodrigues of Pawtucket, Jose Rodrigues of Pawtucket, Austelino Rodrigues of Morocco, Francisco Rodrigues of Providence and 6 brothers from his father’s side; also he was a great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jose Rodrigues.
Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend visitation on Friday, August 4th from 9:00-11:00am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higgison Ave., Lincoln. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
